Gel polish removal with acetone

  1. File the surface of the gel polish with a coarse file.
  2. Dampen a cotton pad in acetone and place it on the damaged surface.
  3. Seal the cotton pad tightly over the nail using either foil or soaking clips.
  4. Let the acetone work for about 8-15 minutes, depending on which product you have used. Thick
the structure may require a longer exposure time.
  5. Gently scrape off the softened material with either a cuticle pusher or an orange stick.
  6. Carefully file away any remaining paste on the nail using a soft buffer file.
  7. Oil your cuticles because acetone dries out the skin.
