UV/LED curing gel polish
1. Push the cuticles away from the nail and clean the dry skin with cuticle clippers or scissors if necessary.
2. Shape the tip of the nail and lightly roughen the surface of the nail using a block or buffer file. Avoid over-filing the nail.
3. Clean the nail surface with BLUESKYN ready-made cleaning pads or cleanser liquid and lint-free cellulose pads.
4. Apply a layer of BLUESKYN gel base coat to the nail, starting from the middle of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle line. Press the brush lightly so that the bristles spread towards the edges of the nail and pull the brush towards the free tip of the nail. Apply varnish to the tip of the nail if the nail is long enough. Cure UV 2min or LED 30-60sec.
5. Mix the nail polish well before use and swirl any excess polish around the inside of the bottle. Apply a thin layer of polish to the nail, starting from the middle of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle line. Press the brush lightly so that the bristles spread towards the edge of the nail and pull the brush towards the free tip of the nail. Take a drop of polish on the brush and apply the polish to the nail with quick strokes so that the brush is flat. If the brush is too upright, the bristles will wipe the polish off the nail surface.
Apply nail polish to the tip of the nail if the nail is long enough. Cure with UV for 2 minutes or LED for 30-60 seconds.
6. Apply a second coat of color using the same technique as before. With the right technique, the polish should be completely opaque and even after two coats. If you are unsuccessful, you can add a third coat if necessary.
7. Apply a layer of BLUESKYN Gel Top Coat to the nail, starting from the center of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle line. Press the brush lightly to spread the bristles towards the edge of the nail and pull the brush towards the free tip of the nail. Apply the top coat if the nail is long enough.
Cure UV 2min or LED 30-60sec. No-wipe top coat does not need to be wiped after curing.
8. Moisturize your skin with cuticle oil and you're done.
Notes: Avoid keeping products in front of UV/LED lamp or the products may be ruined. Do not use products in direct sunlight under a window or even outside in the shade. The sun's UV rays will cure the products.
Mix the nail polishes well before use. If you see bright streaks in the nail polish, the product has not been mixed properly. If the bottles have been left upright for a long time, the pigment will separate from the nail polish.
All BLUESKY color varnishes (except translucent and transparent colors) are opaque in two coats when applied correctly. If you are not yet proficient in the varnishing technique, you can add a third coat of color before applying the top coat.
Especially for new bottles with a lot of product, rotate the brush handle around the inside of the bottle while lifting the brush upwards. This will remove excess product from the brush handle, preventing the polish from running down the brush handle. Tap the bristles of the brush against the inside of the bottle to remove excess polish. Do not wipe the brush across the mouth of the bottle or the bottles will become messy .
Gels are characterized by a sticky surface even after curing. This does not mean that the gel has not hardened. The sticky surface helps the gel layers to adhere to each other. If impurities stick to the sticky surface, they can be removed using Cleanser cleaning pads. If you want to use products from other series, remove the sticky layer using Cleanser cleaning pads before adding a product from another series. This prevents possible incompatibilities.
If you have problems with the durability of your polishes or gels, you may need separate primers or a different type of base coat. For help with durability issues, you can contact us by email or by visiting our store.
