Moyra Easy Foil Folio, Turquoise
- In stock
Product description
Moyran Easy and Magic foils are softer than normal foils and stick to any sticky surface.
You can use these foils in the traditional way, but you don't need foil glue or foil gel.
These foils are intended for foil stamping with Moyra nail and gel polish-based foil stamping polishes. By using these products together, you can transfer a beautiful foil surface to your stamping design.
- Size: 60cm x 5cm
Instructions
- Make sure the surface of the polish is completely dry and non-sticky. If the surface is rubbery (e.g. some No-wipe topcoats) the foil may stick to the surface.
- Apply the foil stamping varnish to the desired design just like you would regular stamping varnish. Wipe off the excess varnish using a scraper and lift the design with your chosen stamper by gently rocking the stamp pad over the design.
- Press the stamp onto the nail in the desired location.
- Observe the surface of the polish, when the polish starts to look semi-matte, press the white/copper side of the foil firmly enough towards the stamp and pull the foil off the nail. If some areas are left without foil, quickly repeat on the bare areas.
- Coat the stamp with your desired top coat. Be careful not to press the bristles too hard or you will scratch the foil off your nail.
Choose a foil polish that matches the color of your foil. You can also play around with colors and use, for example, black polish with rose gold foil.
When the light hits it at the right angle, the black varnish shows through under the foil and the stamp takes on a gorgeous rose gold hue.
If you want the foil to only show its own color, choose a neutral shade that matches the foil or a foil stamping polish that matches the base coat.
Be careful not to touch the underside of the foil too much. The foil is very delicate and may stick to sticky fingers.
Pay attention to the size of the design you are stamping. If the stamp is really thin, you can press the foil onto the design right away. If the design has large areas, you may have to wait a while.
Patterns with a lot of variation can be challenging to foil due to their drying times.
Foil stamping varnishes can also be used as regular stamping varnishes.
