The head of the stamper is made of clear silicone, specifically so you can clearly see how and where you are stamping.

Silicone stampers are delicate, so it's good to remember that they should not be cleaned with nail polish remover. The simplest way to clean them is to use a lint roller or other tape.
Silicone stampers should also not be squeezed or handled roughly.
A cap is included to protect the stamper.
