Maintaining the device is easy as the magnetically attached steel grille detaches effortlessly, and the filter can be cleaned by vacuuming or brushing, for example. It is recommended to clean the filter after every 3 clients and replace it every 2 months. The grille openings have been finished to be smooth, so they do not tear gloves either. External surfaces can be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth when the device is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.

The 5-year warranty requires changing the filter at least every 2 months and fulfilling other warranty terms specified in the user manual. If the device's suction power weakens, more dust is left on the table, or the device's sound increases, the filter should be cleaned or replaced.

Kynsi-imuri on olennainen osa kynsien tekemistä niin kotikäytössä kuin ammattimaisessa työskentelyssä. Viilauksen aikana ilmaan vapautuu hienojakoista kynsipölyä, joka voi levitä työympäristöön ja laskeutua pinnoille. Suodatin tulee vaihtaa kokonaan uuteen valmistajan suosittelemin väliajoin, esimerkiksi kolmen kuukauden välein, jos laitteen käyttöohjeessa näin ohjeistetaan.
